The Jellyfish Project is a powerful educational and movement building non-profit organization created by musicians. "A global coalition of musicians for our environment and our future", the Jellyfish Project is mobilizing the music industry to speak up for the environmental realities of our time and the solutions to overcome them. In collaboration with some of the most prominent environmental organizations in North America, they have created a simple yet powerful platform for like-minded musicians and bands to engage in the environmental movement in an organized and impactful way. The project has partnered with the Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise program, the David Suzuki Foundation, 350.org, the Canadian Youth Climate Coalition and has appeared on the Suzuki Report, ''Canada AM'', and the Global Television Network. > ==Programming== The Jellyfish Project has two core programs: 1. From the Stage From The Stage involves a simple commitment for artists to speak to their audiences about the environment for a few moments at some point during their shows. The JFP provides sample content, scripts, tips and training to plant seeds of consciousness and help amplify environmental awareness into the mainstream. Additionally, artists are provided cards for their merchandise stands with information on the environmental crisis, solutions to overcome it, resources and connections for direct engagement in the movement with partner organizations. 2. School Presentation Program A typical presentation begins with a 30 minute high energy showcase by a Jellyfish Project Band. The performance grabs the students’ attention, earns their respect, puts them into a receptive state of mind, and serves as a perfect segue into the band’s extremely important environmental messages which follow the showcase. Delivered through a polished and captivating slideshow, including images, animations, and videos, the band members present a 30 minute stunning portrayal of the environmental crisis our planet is currently facing. Students are educated on topics such as overfishing, plastic pollution and climate change and are empowered with the knowledge of responsible consumerism, renewable energy, green career options, and the power of the internet and social media for global action and change. As of November 2014, the Jellyfish Project's School Program has been presented to over 110 schools and has reached more than 50,000 students. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Jellyfish Project」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
